Meet Brutus and Shadow! They are doxiepoo's which are half dachshund and half poodle. These two are possibly litter mates and they are very bonded with each other, so we are looking for that special family who would want to take them both. Unfortunately, they were in an abusive home before and as a result they are very afraid. Foster home update- Just after a few days the two of them have opened up a lot. They are both settling in well and really LOVE to go for walks. Brutus likes to hang back and have Shadow do all of the detective work around the house. If Shadow reports back that all is good, then Brutus will follow. Shadow is very curious and brave. Now a week has passed, both of them are equally devouring all the hugs and kisses they can get. Watching TV at night on the couch is a new hobby for them. They also get along with other dogs, and bark at passing ones. Cats seem to be a new thing for them, they do not go after them but wonder what they are. They are listed as special needs since they were in an abusive home. TIME and PATIENCE is required to ensure they adjust to new surroundings comfortably. Also absolutely NO SMALL CHILDREN. *If you would like to meet Buster and Shadow you would need to make an appointment so that the foster could make sure that the dogs are here.
